Raoul Carbone began his career as illustrator and character designer in the nineties, to arrive in 2000 to what would be his main activity. In 2002 he founded his first game development company. In 2004 he published ''Il Rosso e Il Nero - The Italian Civil War'', the first italian FPS.
Carbone is co-founder of VIGAMUS Foundation. He is President since 2013. VIGAMUS Foundation is acknowledged by the Prefecture of Rome, with positive opinion of the Ministry of Artistic and Cultural Goods and Tourism, with Protocol 976/2014. Value of the Foundation: € 1,000,000.00. He is co-founder of AIOMI - Italian Association for the Interactive Multimedia, the movement for Italian Culture of Videogames, in 2008. He is President since 2012. Carbone is co-founder and administrator of VIGAMUS - Video Game Museum of Rome, the first and only in Italy, with the participation of the ‘’City of Rome’’, ‘’Zetema Progetto Cultura’’ and ‘’Tor Vergata University’’. He is professor since 2003 in graphic design, virtual design, 3D modeling and virtual sculpting. Since 2011 he teaches "Virtual Design applied to Forensic Anthropology" at Tor Vergata University in Rome.
